Congratulations too all the 2016 FRF Fit for Duty Challenge participants!   This year over over 100 Firefighters, EMTs and Paramedics entered their results.  There were many, many, great and inspiring results and stories showing how the Fire Rescue Fitness Workouts have helped change lives and careers.  Most importantly, our hope is that these results will help motivate more fire rescue athletes to join the FRF nation and change the fitness culture of the fire service.

Please read and share these awesome transformation stories.  And, please comment with your thoughts on the winner, 2 through 5 places who was the most inspiring.  You can also vote by “liking”  the athlete on our FRF Facebook Page (click here).  Voting ends on April 23rd.  Winners (final spots) will be announced April 24th.

Here are the Top 5 entries (listed in random order) in the 2016 FRF Fit for Duty Challenge.

My vote is for my husband, Jay Nidiffer. He is my motivation. He is the one who keeps me going to the gym, the one who started me going to the gym. Without him the results I’ve seen wouldn’t have been possible. He pushes me to be better in the gym and as a person. He is amazing!

My vote is for Jay Nidiffer. I’ve had the opportunity to serve our community with Jay. He is a great firefighter who I’m glad to see doesn’t want to be a statistic! He is a motivation and great leader on our fire department!!

My vote is for Jay Nidiffer. Jay worked his butt off at this challenge while working a job, volunteering at the fire department, and being there for his family. He is a great man and a great mentor. Keep up the great work Jay.

I vote fore Jay Nidiffer he has been a mentor for me since I have first decided to become a firefighter. He has not only worked hard to get in great shape but works twice as hard to be a good person. Good luck Jay!

All of the ‘Top 5′ are great examples of getting Fit for Duty, however i can only vote for one. Jay Nidiffer did not only change his life, he changed his girlfriends’ life, and has gotten his fire department doing the challenge ‘in house’. Jay… you got my vote. Well done!
